Tuition, Financial Aid and Financing
We strive to provide programs that are unique and innovative,
yet relevant and rigorous. We are committed to providing a quality
education responsive to the needs of society at tuition rates
that are considerably less than most other accredited institutions.
Tuition and fees vary from program-to-program. Click the following
links to obtain specific information on program costs.
Short-Term Financing
For Masters degree program students, the University permits students
to pay tuition on an installment basis. This generally requires
an initial payment equal to 30% of the tuition with the balance
paid, depending on the program, over a term of five to twelve
months.
Military
William Howard Taft University participates in the Defense Activity
for Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES), which offers Tuition
Assistance to those who serve in the military. The DANTES Tuition
Assistance Management Program (TAMP) processes the tuition reimbursement
for active duty Army, Active Guard and Reserves (AGR), Air National
Guard, and Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) personnel upon successful
completion of courses.
Tuition assistance policy questions must be directed to the respective
branch of Service. Information regarding Tuition Assistance (TA)
for each branch of service can be found on the DANTES
Website. DANTES requires specific procedures to be followed.
The first step is to contact the military educational counselor
to discuss the program options and the TA approval process. Please
contact the University
with any questions your counselor cannot answer.
Financial Aid
Many businesses and professional firms recognize the value of nationally
accredited distance learning programs for employee education. The
University has established the
Partners in Professional
Education (PIPE) Program. This is a co-operative undertaking
between employers and the University to provide graduate level educational
opportunities to qualified employees. Through the PIPE Program eligible
employees may obtain tuition grants ranging between five and twenty
percent.
Many organizations sponsor employer-assisted tuition reimbursement
programs. The University will provide all reasonable assistance
to supply the necessary documentation to students seeking employer
reimbursement.
