Arthur S. Leahy

My name is Arthur S. Leahy. I have an M.A. and Ph.D. in economics from the State University of New York at Binghamton, with fields of specialization in Industrial Organization and Labor Economics.  I previously earned a B.A. in economics from the State University of New York College at Oneonta. I worked as an economist for the federal government for over thirty years and have been teaching economics and business courses part-time for approximately thirty years at various universities as well as online.  I currently teach The Legal and Regulatory Environment of Business, Economics of Health and Medical Care, Health Care Finance, Money and Capital Markets, and Microeconomics. I have previously taught the Legal Aspects of Health Care Administration, Business Economics, Market Structure and Government Policy, principles of economics, intermediate microeconomics, and managerial economics. I have published twenty-five papers in refereed professional journals and have served as a referee for the New York Economic Review and the Review of Industrial Organization.
