Randall E. Stone

My name is Randall Stone and I serve as an adjunct faculty member at Taft University. My professional background is in banking, investments, insurance, and public accounting and I have graduate degrees in both Accountancy (MAcc) and Taxation (MS Tax) in addition with several professional designations such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Personal Financial Specialist (PFS), Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU). Also, during the summer of 2013, I started coursework leading toward a PhD in Business Administration (concentration in Advanced Accounting) and am now in the final stages completing my dissertation.

In 2012, I took a leap of faith, so to speak, and made the decision to change careers – switching from the professional world to the academic world. In addition to teaching responsibilities within the W. Edwards Deming School of Business at Taft University I am also an instructor of accounting at East Central University located in Ada, Oklahoma and an adjunct instructor at National University. Additionally, I taught accounting courses for two years at Rose State College (Midwest City, OK).

My wife and I have no children, but we do have two dogs who act like unruly teenagers sometimes!
