Taft University Professor Earns Rising Star Award

William Howard Taft University is pleased to announce that Dr. Casey Reason has been chosen for the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC) Rising Star Award.

In her award announcement, Leah Matthews, Executive Director of the Distance Education Accrediting Commission stated, “every year, the DEAC recognizes individuals who make incredible contributions to teaching and learning in distance education. Our Awards Committee met today and reviewed a nomination from one of your students at Taft University. You made quite an impression on this student as well as on the DEAC Awards Committee.”

 

Dr. Reason is the author of three nationally published books and numerous scholarly articles on teacher leadership and educational administration. He teaches in the Boyer Graduate School of Education at William Howard Taft University.

The award will be presented at DEAC’s Annual Conference in San Diego on April 24, 2018.
