Taft’s Dr. Casey Reason Gives Keynote

At this year’s fall workshop for the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC) one of Taft University’s professors was a keynote speaker. Dr. Casey Reason is a long-standing professor with Taft in our Boyer Graduate School of Education programs, teaching courses about leadership and educational administration. This comes alongside twenty years of experience speaking about leadership and innovation, authoring several books, working with prominent CEOs, and helping large corporations develop and design new ways to promote growth within their teams.

Reason’s keynote at October’s DEAC workshop shared advice for leaders on fostering innovation within their teams. The full description reads:

The job of every leader is to exert influence resulting in innovations that positively impact results. So how do you help an organization to become more innovative? The key is to create an organizational culture that sees innovation as a continuous, creative process. In this keynote, Leadership author and trainer Dr. Casey Reason will be sharing best practice approaches to creating a culture that innovates consistently and produces better results. Dr. Reason shares stories. But he relies much more on strategies and decades of research in identifying exactly what it takes for leaders to positively influence human performance in the name of innovation.
